Yes I got a huge kick out of the train and the huge city. I've never been in/on either before. We didn't do much except walk around, and there was some "Taste of Chicago" thing going on. We walked to some museum but it was closed when we got there. There was a HUGE Barnes and Nobles there and I spent a good portion of time there....trying desperately to save my money... Anyway it was fun, and cool getting lost.

Our buddy who came along, Hale, thought his logic was better than my sense of direction... preposterous... in the end a man came along and asked us if we were lost trying to get back to base (we could have got in serious trouble if we were any later) and pointed out exactly where i said I thought we had to go... go figure. Anyway PICS!

Hey Squall, how have you been?

Just wanted to say that AX09 was fantastic. I don't want to rub it in your face so if it seems like I am or going to, I'm completely sorry and I swear I don't mean it. But I just think about it and I wish you were there. There were only two good Cloud cosplays, and I'm so sure you would have topped them both.
And there was quite the FF gathering! I mean truly, it was out of this world insane.
I hope you can go to AX10 because I really look forward to seeing you there.

Also be sure to check my gallery sometime soon, going to be uploading some AX09 pictures and I hope you'll take the time to check them out.

I have no idea why. Maybe cause I ran out of options or maybe I hoped if find something. But I'm not going to japan for animation or whatnot

No I've been interested in the culture since I was little. And back then I thought anime cosplay etc was stupid

Yeah the culture is great my girlfriend is from there so i learned quite a bit! You'll love it, it is beautiful. My advice, go buddy it's something you won't regret and will change your life for the better! Especially if your feeling lost and don't know what to do right now!. Who knows you may even find the love of your life over there like i did!. It's probably best to learn some Japanese before you go, i had studied it since year 8 so i knew how to communicate while being there!.
